Initial Spring Look/Test Shoot- Unretouched

The colours I chose for my Spring look are based on the colour palette created for D&G 's spring makeup collection. I wanted to create a diffused but still colourful yellow base all over the eye with a pop of pink through the inner corners for a nice contrast, and to show the versatility of the palette, as would be created for the actual advert. I kept the skin fresh and dewy, and the lips a pale pink-nude. I chose to curl the hair and pin it into a chignon, but keep the curls quite defined, rather than brushing them into waves. After reviewing the images with Emma and Kat, I have decided to reshoot this look, as there is not enough of a contrast between the pink and yellow eyeshadows. I look forward to trying this look again with the reviewed test shots in mind! Again, the nose ring came up as an issue, but was easily removed during retouching.
